System Documentation


Supporting and maintaining the operation of your existing and new systems is a vital part of your operation. Systems documentation makes the task manageable and our systems documentation set is designed keeping this in mind. Writelines' systems documentation set includes:


Support specification: Containing reference material similar in content to a system specification. This document is aimed at maintenance programmers, to help them solve and record problems, and to evaluate the effects of system changes. Typically, this document will include overview information, data-flow diagrams, entity models and file/program cross-references.

Program summaries: Containing a summary of the main functions of a program. Summaries for key program design and flag updates.

Programmer bibles: Containing additional information for programmers, such as source code control procedures, compilation and release procedures.
